The Project

Ella Austin is a multi-purpose community center that provides early childhood through senior services in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood on San Antonio’s East side. The community center is housed in a historic Middle School owned by the City of San Antonio that dates back to the 1920’s.

The Methodology

A series of community assessments and workshops were conducted to clarify the community needs and propose appropriate programs and master plan concepts for the project.
