The Project

The Alamo Regional Security Operations Center (ARSOC) is one of only three multi-agency cybersecurity facilities in the U.S., reinforcing San Antonio’s leadership in the field. Located at Port San Antonio, the project involved retrofitting over 20,000 square feet of pre-existing space into a cohesive facility that houses multiple offices, a command center, training labs, showers, and secure 24-hour networking operations.

The Methodology

The design focused on integrating technology and creating collaborative spaces, with a key emphasis on functional and secure operations. An extensive FF&E package was developed for offices, cubicles, labs, and the command center. Space planning was central to ensuring a smooth flow of operations, and the design incorporated playful color palettes drawn from surrounding neighborhoods, reflecting the culture of San Antonio while enhancing wayfinding.

The Result

The ARSOC now provides a state-of-the-art cybersecurity facility that supports multi-agency collaboration in a secure, technologically advanced environment. The facility’s design not only meets functional needs but also embraces the culture and vibrancy of the local area, making it a unique and effective hub for cybersecurity operations in San Antonio.
