Texas A&M San Antonio New Student Housing Phase II Set to Be Complete in Summer 2024

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is set to unveil its new residence hall in the summer of 2024. This four-story dormitory will accommodate 364 beds addressing the growing student population. With mail, administration, and reception a reason the first floor, each floor will feature amenities like lounges, laundry, and trash facilities. Overflow from the current housing facility, Esperanza Hall, prompted temporary housing arrangements and 200 students on the housing waitlist in the fall semester. TAMUSA anticipates a student body increase from 7,300 to 8,750 by fall 2025 and plan to execute multiple phases of new student housing projects in the coming years to accommodate this expected growth.
