WestEast Design, in collaboration with Cleary Zimmerman, ARUP, Towne Twin Village, and IKEA U.S., unveils a transformative 'Tiny Home' initiative designed to provide safe, stable housing for elderly individuals experiencing homelessness. This project addresses the needs of an often-overlooked population, emphasizing that older adults who have faced trauma and housing instability deserve a supportive and secure environment.
Guided by Trauma-Informed Design principles, the 'Tiny Home' fosters healing and a renewed sense of belonging for its residents. The initiative reflects our commitment to ensuring dignity and compassion through thoughtful design, offering a foundation for hope and stability. We are proud to partner with these organizations to use architecture as a means of positively impacting lives and creating lasting change
