WestEast has been selected by Sterling Organization to reimagine The Village at Stone Oak, a high-profile retail destination in North San Antonio. The redevelopment strategy centers on placemaking, thoughtful planning, and targeted retail enhancements that will improve the overall user experience and drive long-term value for both tenants and the community.
The revitalized master plan focuses on creating a walkable, connected environment with enhanced wayfinding, lush landscaping, and dynamic public spaces. A new central green spine will anchor the site, drawing visitors deeper into the development while activating previously underutilized edges. By transforming these key areas, the project strengthens tenant visibility and supports future new development opportunities.
WestEast’s role includes architectural visioning, retail planning, pedestrian-oriented design, and the integration of branded signage and wayfinding systems. These coordinated interventions are designed to reestablish The Village at Stone Oak as a vibrant, experience-driven retail district tailored to modern consumer expectations.
The result will be a bold redefinition of what a suburban retail center can be—rooted in community, elevated by design.
